project requirements

The company’s office space covers 48,000 m² over ten storeys on the south bank of the Thames. The prime location and standout exterior make the office building an eye-catcher for sightseers and employees alike, but the interior of the commercial building offers endless outstanding features.
The Mount Lighting team worked with the project’s electrical contractor and design team to specify and supply LED linear lighting for the ground floor of the building. In addition, our team performed site visits to the central London location to ensure we understood the unique design specifications throughout.
The company’s colour scheme prevailed strongly throughout the ground level, and the black ceilings and walls that featured heavily in the main reception area influenced lux levels significantly. Black absorbs light and can cause spaces to feel smaller. However, Mount Lighting’s M-Line linear LED lighting range has a high output and lights the reception area consistently and successfully.
Mount also supplied M-Line recessed and suspended lighting for a board room, meeting room, work stations and the communal works area in the lobby. Unlike some linear lighting ranges, M-Line seamlessly combines functionality and aesthetics and can be used as accent, task and ambient lighting.
All lighting was supplied with black casing to further integrate the sleek M-Line design into the interior. Emergency options were selected and added to all of Mount’s LED lighting for the project.
Casambi wireless lighting control was also included to give building users complete control over the space’s illumination. With Casambi, lighting control is always at your fingertips and is accessible through most mobile devices.
