project requirements

The featured building on Mansell Street has multiple storeys and currently accommodates several businesses. The project Mount Lighting supported was part of a category A fit-out and planned refurbishment to attract new occupants/tenants. Our team was contacted by our client to source and specify suitable interior lighting for the impressive space. The areas that we covered included a large office, toilets and corridors.

The project had unique requirements that Mount Lighting were more than happy to work with. Alongside designing and supplying all lighting in accordance with CIBSE regulations, the suspended LEP32LG 1200mm x 300mm panels were required to be finished in black and every product needed to be sourced in the United Kingdom. With lighting across many zones, we had to ensure that every luminaire we specified was fit for purpose and would boost efficiency while supporting a clean and professional aesthetic.

The black suspended LEP32LG panels were our first choice for the office area to meet the client’s demands. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, sleek, and a fantastic option for CAT A fit-outs, but the panels are powered by SMD2835 LED chips that boast greatly improved efficiency and a long lifespan. This technology is new to the lighting world and incredibly efficient.

Project Conclusion

Overall, Mount Lighting supplied a wide range of luminaires to ensure the office space would be efficient, safe and visually pleasing for future occupants. The black panels looked great against the backdrop of the battleship grey ceiling and the black recessed linear lights blended seamlessly with the basement mesh ceiling.

This project is truly a showcase of some of our most impressive ranges and most of the luminaires are visible for all passers-by to see through the stunning glass-fronted facade of the building.
