National House is a traditional 20,00 Sq. ft office building located on Wardour Street in the heart of Soho, Central London which underwent a phased floor by floor refurbishment over a 5-year period to achieve higher rental returns and make the space welcoming for new media company tenants.
Mount Lighting was delighted to be involved and produce the straightforward lighting design for the CAT A space. The M&E plant was fully replaced to enable all tenants to have their own systems which included an extensive lighting upgrade. The layout had to fit in seamlessly around the existing drop-down ceiling beams, exposed cable trays and air conditioning units. The scheme included integral emergency packs within the luminaires which were a mix of standalone and continuous M–Line Suspended units.

When visiting the building following project completion to capture the images for case study, even we were impressed with how much the lighting revived the exposed services and brickwork, giving this project the ultimate industrial clean feel. The lighting blended in seamlessly with this great interior design on every floor.
