Stone X, Moor House, London

When StoneX, a global financial services leader, set out to redesign its London headquarters, they had one goal: create sleek, modern office lighting design that aligned with their brand across 81 global locations. We were brought in to deliver a lighting design that matched their international identity – functional, consistent, and bold.

Consistent Office Lighting Design

This was no ordinary lighting supply. Mount Lighting collaborated closely with S&J Electrical and interior design specialists Kinetic Workplace to upgrade the existing space with precision. From visual alignment to technical requirements, we made sure every lighting detail echoed StoneX’s overseas offices.

This full CAT B lighting fit-out spanned multiple floors and included open-plan workspaces, breakout areas, corridors, and meeting rooms – all demanding tailored lighting for comfort, functionality, and visual consistency.

Lighting That Works Across Every Space

Our role went beyond supply. We worked hands-on with the contractor and designer to shape the entire workplace lighting scheme, selecting fittings to meet aesthetic and technical demands. Every choice was intentional.

A core requirement was full DALI lighting control – to allow flexible dimming, zonal lighting, and energy-efficient automation. But it didn’t stop there. The space included a wide range of ceiling types and architectural features, meaning our fittings had to adapt without compromise.

Meeting rooms with ceiling rafts called for recessed luminaires and architectural LED downlights, while exposed ceilings in open areas demanded suspended solutions that blended cleanly with and uplit visible services – all while delivering excellent task lighting with minimum glare.

The Highlights

Nova – Suspended LED Downlight

To tackle different ceiling heights, we used both suspended and surface-mounted versions of the Nova fitting. With high and super-high lumen outputs, the Nova delivers excellent performance without glare – a key need for productive, modern office spaces. The concave design, high-efficiency optics, and low-glare reflectors make it a perfect choice for lighting where people need to focus.

Blade – Low Glare Suspended Panel Light

Ideal for exposed ceilings, Blade offers uplight and task light in one clean, slim unit. Its aluminium frame and microprism diffuser help the Blade contribute to UGR<19 glare control, supporting wellbeing in the workplace and ticking key compliance boxes for task lighting in commercial environments.

Razor – Suspended LED Emergency Exit Sign

A suspended exit sign that doesn’t compromise on design. The Razor’s crystal-clear acrylic panel distributes light evenly, while the sleek body is available in a range of finishes and mounting options. Perfect for exposed ceilings where appearance matters as much as compliance.
