Working closely with the client from concept through to commissioning, Mount Lighting delivered a complete commercial office lighting solution that brought the owner’s vision to life. By combining architectural LED lighting, intelligent wireless controls and carefully selected feature luminaires, the finished workspace provides an inspiring environment that supports creativity, collaboration and employee wellbeing.
The brief was to transform a blank industrial unit into a contemporary creative workspace that felt bright, welcoming and adaptable. Every element of the interior was designed to reflect Core Creative Agency’s brand, from the exposed steelwork and double height ceilings through to the open plan layout and collaborative meeting spaces. The lighting needed to complement these architectural features while providing comfortable illumination for everyday working.
Mount Lighting worked closely with the client to develop a bespoke office lighting scheme that balanced aesthetics with performance. The result is a layered lighting design that enhances the character of the building while supporting a variety of working environments, including focused workstations, informal breakout areas, meeting rooms and client spaces.
Natural daylight plays an important role throughout the office, with large windows flooding the workspace with light. The artificial lighting has been designed to work in harmony with these changing daylight conditions, creating a comfortable and consistent environment throughout the day.
To provide complete flexibility, the entire lighting scheme is controlled using Casambi wireless lighting controls, allowing lighting scenes to be adjusted quickly and easily to suit different activities, whether the team are collaborating on creative projects, hosting client presentations or working independently. Mount Lighting also carried out the commissioning of the control system, ensuring the lighting performed exactly as intended from day one.

Lens-Line forms the backbone of the office lighting scheme, providing low glare LED lighting throughout the open plan workspace. Suspended between the exposed steel structure, the clean linear profile complements the industrial architecture while delivering comfortable, uniform illumination across every workstation.
Halo circular suspended luminaires create striking architectural features within the mezzanine desk areas. Their minimalist design helps define collaborative spaces while introducing a bold visual statement that reinforces the creative character of the office.
Installed as a striking duo outside of the mezzanine, Oreo suspended LED luminaires create a distinctive architectural feature while delivering balanced direct and indirect illumination. The combination of in-light and out-light enhances the sense of height within the double height reception area, softening the exposed industrial ceiling and creating a bright, welcoming environment.
Force downlights provide discreet architectural lighting throughout circulation areas and supporting spaces. Their understated appearance allows the feature lighting and architectural details to remain the focal point while ensuring every area benefits from high quality, functional illumination.
To introduce warmth into the meeting spaces, decorative Lyra pendants were installed above the collaborative booths. Their copper mesh woven finish provides a softer contrast to the exposed steelwork and industrial finishes, creating welcoming spaces for informal meetings, creative discussions and client conversations.
The entire lighting scheme is controlled using Casambi wireless lighting controls, giving the client complete flexibility to adapt the workspace throughout the day. Lighting scenes can be adjusted quickly to suit different working styles, meetings and presentations, while the wireless system also provides a future proof solution that can easily evolve as the business continues to grow.
