Our brief was to supply and install interior office lighting across multiple storeys within two Category A fit-out refurbishment projects. To ensure that we achieved the ultimate office lighting layout and supplied the best assortment of interior lighting, the Mount Lighting team worked closely with their designer.
By working closely with the designer, who required a specific lighting layout for the office structure, we could ensure that every luminaire had the correct output and lux levels for the working environment.
The project required office lighting for multiple areas and we utilised our wide range of innovative lighting to find solutions for every space. With so many floors and zones to provide different categories of lighting for, and specific atmospheres in certain rooms(as some rooms were listed, the team had to put their creative minds to the test and step up to the challenge.
We installed linear lighting above general office areas for broad, bright spreads of light with an aesthetic, sleek finish and ensured sufficient lighting levels in toilets and corridor areas with LED downlights.
As the listed office spaces needed their authentic features enhanced, we supplied wall lights and low glare LED downlights to blend the character of the room seamlessly. We also provided low-level inset lights to the staircase which linked to emergency back up supplies to provide emergency lighting to the large winding staircase.
All supplied lighting was carefully selected to fit in the architecture of the building and the ongoing use as commercial office space.
