In the heart of Fitzrovia, London sits 75–76 Wells Street, home to the up-and-coming creative content agency, Silk Factory. This company operates on the second floor of this Central London location and needed an office interior update that was as bright, bold and ambitious as their ethos. With a highly experienced creative team and a huge client base and audience to provide their content to, the team at Mount Lighting knew that we had to design and supply office and studio lighting that could reflect their driven attitude and provide a multitude of benefits.
When Mount Lighting was approached for the design and supply of interior lighting for this Category B fit-out project, we knew that the finished look had to be A list. As a fresh and creative agency, the style and aesthetic of the lights that the team provided needed to reflect the personality of the space and make it stand out.
As with any reception and office area, it’s important to create a lighting system that works collectively but still has those unique break-out pieces that drop jaws. By working closely with the end client and performing a site visit to gather more understanding about the results they were after, we were confident that we could supply exactly what was required.
With so many successful projects under The Silk Factory’s name, we had to make sure that our lighting design project was outstanding. Using LED luminaires in recessed, surface mounted and suspended varieties, we could flood the office and reception area with sufficient levels of lux and stunning lighting.
The Silk Factory team are known for creating impactful AV content that puts the audience at the heart of the creative process. For this project, we put them and their requirements at the heart of ours.
