Achieve optimum lux levels using LED downlights for high-level ambient lighting. To create a stunning feature in the reception area across the two floors, we provided Suspended Halo Pendants with direct/indirect lighting in sizes from 650mm–1250mm. This created consistent illumination throughout but also produced an impressive visual with all the different suspension heights and sizes of the Halo Pendants. For aesthetics and functionality, we supplied lighting to create localised reception desk lighting.
The integrated DALI Dimmable feature is controlled using daylight sensors for an energy-efficient solution. This was installed alongside emergency lighting containing high-level LED downlights with a long-life span and integral emergency back-up to make sure maintenance will remain low and the lighting will work when required most. Low maintenance was always a necessity as the LED downlights were mounted at a 7m height.

Project Conclusion
We love nothing more than creating the wow factor in reception areas and this is a fine example of using appropriate lighting levels through different layers. The huge open space with high ceilings needed the right amount of downlight to illuminate the traffic and working areas.
The soft up light from the Halo filled the area with a sense of warmth and welcoming to instantly make clients and staff feel comfortable but they also highlighted the impressive design features of the space. We met all outlined requirements and delivered numerous lighting solutions that worked seamlessly with the interior to create an outstanding look.
