Mount Lighting worked closely with a Mechanical and Engineering Consultant throughout this project to achieve the workplace lighting design and specific requirements for future tenants. Collaborating with the Consultants and Electrical Contractors allowed for the effective delivery of the products and a successful, simple installation.
The client requested that our M-Line Linear LED Lighting range be provided in a specific shade of off-white/cream, and we were able to supply it as all of our product’s RAL colours can be customised to suit customer’s preferences. Mount Lighting’s in-house production facility can fulfil all design briefs, and most core products have Made in Britain Status so that clients can be assured of quality design and construction.
This commercial lighting project spanned multiple building floors, from the basement to the roof plant area, including the WCs and emergency exit stairwells. Each floor has unique features and layouts due to being a corner plot building; our luminaires were chosen to accentuate these unique qualities. For example, in the workspace floors alongside our M-Line surface-mounted linear LED lighting and Force surface-mounted downlights, in the strip of wooden slats across the ceiling, our Quantum recessed downlights blended seamlessly with this particular feature.
Our commercial lighting design provided further illumination, including the stairwells with contemporary and stylish emergency lighting. The welcoming reception was designed to create a warm and welcoming ambience with the recessed lighting in the dropped ceiling by the lift lobby, and Flare LED downlights highlighting the live moss wall.
Mount Lighting provided emergency lighting design and supplied LED exit signs throughout each floor of the building, utilising a SceneCom system that allows the client to monitor the lighting through the Casambi Wireless Lighting Control app, giving the building’s occupants more control over their lighting and providing energy efficiency through occupancy sensors throughout.

This project was completed successfully within the time specified and budget, and the clients were very pleased with the result. The high standard of lighting provided by Mount Lighting created an atmosphere which allowed for each individual area to meet the requirements which the Consultant highlighted.
